I am so excited to serve as your president.  I feel in love with play therapy after my first UNT Summer Siminar.  The geek in me loved mixing all the neurobiology with toys!  I am happy each day I get to help a little kiddos heal with play!  We have a magic opportunity which I treasure.  I am excited to share my passion for play with others.

I am honored to serve as secretary for this chapter and bring the power of play to our community.  Working as a professional school counselor and an LPC in private practice, I am able to see the need

"Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning.  But for children, play is serious learning.  Play is really the work of childhood."  ~  Fred Rodgers

I am excited to serve as a school counselor representative and as a graduate-level Clinical Mental Health student at U. T. P. B.

Play therapy offers a unique platform for individuals to deal with their deepest emotions through play! Play therapy enriches the counseling process on a much deeper level.  Self-efficacy of the individual is enhanced, and great progress can be achieved on an interpersonal level.
